Questions Eddington families ask us
No. Eddington students attend the classroom portion at our Bangor location at 99 Farm Road, Bangor, reached via Route 9 west into Brewer, then Route 1A or I-395 into Bangor. Behind-the-wheel instruction and road-test preparation do run on Eddington roads.
Lessons and road-test preparation routinely use Route 9, Route 46, and the local roads toward Brewer, along with the corridors described above. We deliberately practise the roads you will drive after you are licensed rather than a generic route.
Licensing for this area is handled through the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch at 396 Griffin Road, Suite 202, Bangor, ME 04401, open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call the branch at 207-942-1319 to confirm road test scheduling.
Yes. Eddington sees genuine Northeast winters, and we work on following distance, braking on reduced traction, and skid recovery as conditions allow during your lesson window.
